POWER AND PERFORMANCE
The JZ 140 boasts the shortest tail swing around and a full-swing radius that is one of the best in its class.
A 98 hp (72.8 kW) Isuzu engine and best-in-class drawbar pull, means the JZ 140 is able to travel however poor the ground conditions.
Superb stability provides a higher lift capacity than you would expect from a zero tail swing machine in its class.
Four selectable working modes link the operator's control movements with the engine and hydraulic systems to maximize productivity and efficiency.
1 or 2-way flow can be automatically selected so it is easier to switch between attachments.

RELIABILITY AND PROFIT
Zero tail swing, cast counter-weight reduces risk of damage to superstructure.
1,000 hour greasing interval on boom-base and boom-to-dipper pins reduces service costs.
Cushion control ensures smooth operation and reduced wear and tear on components.
Isuzu engine and AMS move more material for less fuel.
Easy to access, single engine oil filter cuts down on service time and cost. The JCB Plexus filter cleans the hydraulic oil to 1.5 microns, cutting down on dirt and condensation in the system. The oil also goes 5,000 hours between changes. Servicing intervals are increased, downtime is reduced and overall machine reliability enhanced.
AMS - SIMPLE BUT INTELLIGENT
The AMS controls all the machine's major functions for maximum productivity and fuel efficiency. It also alerts you the instant there is a problem and records all the machine's key operating data.
It has four modes to suit the task at hand:
- Auto Mode: Automatically gives you maximum power, when you need it.
- Economy Mode: Designed for maximum fuel efficiency in normal digging conditions.
- Precision Mode: Gives you more control and accuracy for fine work and grading.
- Lifting Mode: Maximum power with controlability.
