PRODUCTIVITY AND PERFORMANCE
Using a new design concept called "minimal tail swing" the 8060 provides optimum visibility, stability and serviceability while minimizing counterweight overhang in tight, confining areas.
Full 360° cab swing, combined with independent boom swing provides excellent maneuverability.
The Isuzu engine provides 59.6 gross hp.
Powerful transmittal drive motors provide travel speeds for easy maneuvering in confined spaces.
Auxiliary circuit supplies 25 gpm to the dipper to supply a wide range of hydraulic attachments.
Single and dual acting auxilary hydraulics for thumb or hammer operation.
10,768 lbs. of bucket breakout and 5,912 lbs. dipper force give unmatched performance in tough digging applications.
RELIABILITY AND DURABILITY
Rubber or steel track options utilize the same roller system for easy change over.
Swing turret is a fully enclosed system protected from dirt and debris. Tracks are hydraulically adjusted (grease gun). Tough wrap-around counterweights protect the side and rear end against impact damage. The rear engine cover, which is lockable, includes high-density polythene panels for impact and scratch protection.
SAFETY
ROPS (Roll Over Protection Structure) and TOPS (Tip Over Protection Structure) certified cab / canopy, with the added option of FOGS (Falling Object Guard Structure) guard. Seat belt fitted as standard. Control isolator situated on left-hand pod.
OPERATOR ENVIRONMENT
Both cab and canopy builds are TOPS / FOPS / FOGS certified for operator safety and comfort. All controls and instrumentation are ergonomically designed and located for maximum convenience, comfort and productivity. Quick and easy control pattern changes between SAE and ISO. The added option of air conditioning.
SERVICEABILITY
Service access on the machine is unmatched, the twin opening hood arrangement offering easy access to both the side mounted engine and rear mounted hydraulic components.
